Why is it so important we find a cure for dementia?

Dementia is the leading cause of death in the UK.

If nothing changes, one in two of us will be directly affected by it – either by developing it ourselves, caring for someone with it, or both.

Alzheimer’s Research UK exists to change that. As the largest UK charity dedicated solely to dementia research, they are working to revolutionise the way dementia is treated, diagnosed and prevented. And then, they will find a way to cure it.
